I have just changed my about status, in an effort to let folks know about my blogs.
I write my opinions on many subjects, politics, spirituality, entertainment, and just general topics. These blogs are written because I want people to know how I feel, in my political ones as a way to inform people how I believe this country would be best as a United States of America, not the un-United States it presently is. I do not claim to know all the answers, and I do expect not everyone will feel the way I do about things.
But as I’ve already stated, I do not appreciate racism, the war on women, the thought that too many people think they have the right to tell anyone not related to them how to live their lives, politically, spiritually, or philosophically. What makes a conglomerate of a country a good place to live is that the variations in people living here don’t all follow the same life styles. This is a good thing.
We are not a country built on a religious philosophy, or a family-life mundanity, or a gender-related rule. We live best by following laws written for all – like the Constitution, which is a document that advises on rules and laws for a national reason, but is not a document about LIFE STYLES. Those everyone has the right to choose.
I am unapologetically an ultra-left, socialist (education and healthcare), Democrat, and a Phythagorean, Gnostic Pagan of the Celtic tradition, and my writings reflect that. It is not required that you read what I say, but if you do, understand that I am speaking MY OWN opinions, and am not likely to be swayed by those who want to use false reports to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. I assure you with my life experience, my age, my work experience, and my intelligence level, I do know and believe what I am saying is true. Where no-one can possibly know everything, I base my opinions on what I THINK could be the answer, but as I’ve already said, I don’t have all the answers, and I have never tried to say I do. I get just as confused as others in some things, and if I then write my opinion about that, it is an opinion based on how it has impacted my own life, or the life of those closest to me.
If you have a comment, please share. But do not use my blog as a soap box for what you say. Use my Facebook page, where you will share your opinions on my opinions with lots of other people. You are not going to convince me to change my personal opinion unless you can offer proof of what you are saying, and that that information is available to other readers. I get quite enough debate, both friendly and hostile, there. As well, my Facebook page is as open and public and I can make it. If I get ugly replies, I simply choose to block individuals rather than organizations or pages. If I don’t want to listen to you, I simply don’t.
I am quite happy at what is happening to people like Darrell Issa and Eric Cantor and John Boehner (bless his crying eyes) today, and I will continue to try and defeat, with others of my way of thinking, idiots like Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, John Cornyn, John Carter, and others of that ilk in Texas, and those whom I cannot vote for like Mitch McConnell. I’d mention Louis Gohmert, but he makes me laugh so much sometimes I think I need him for the comic relief.
Anyway, respect my right to write what I want to in my own blogs. And if you cannot, then don’t read them at all.
