Thoughts on the 3rd Debate

America’s Role:  development in technology.

All energy services Romney spoke about are finite.

Obama:  we need more math and science teachers.

Romney wants to get rid of all Diplomatic ties to Iran?  It is not viable.  We need our diplomatic ties.

If we want everyone to get rid of their nuclear abilities, re:  war machines, we should also be willing to do the same.  Difference is, we have nuclear weapons already, as do most of the free countries, and we are not preaching very well “do as we say, not as we do”.

Russia cannot afford to bring back its nuclear program.  As well, Romney apparently still thinks Russia is the USSR.

Is it time to divorce Pakistan?  Romney says no – because of their nukes.  Therefore, we fight Iran from getting nukes, but have peace with Pakistan because they already have nukes.  Even if their social skills are about the same.

Romney is afraid of nuclear weapons, so much so that he will kowtow to nations like Pakistan because they have nukes, and threaten those that talk about them with destruction.

Romney’s terror shows in both his eyes and manner of speech.  And the sweat.

As for treatment of women in those countries (Muslim), they may want out, but not necessarily away.  When I went to Fiesta to vote on Monday, I noticed a female (I presume) coming out with her groceries, covered from head to toe in a bhurka-like outfit.  I could see only her eyes.  Not a very good idea in America, where humans drive their cars like maniacs, even in parking lots.

On stage afterwards, the youngest Romney son was talking earnestly to Michelle.  A small blond boy wanted Obama to hold him, but Romney pulled him back.  I thought Romney shows a lot of interest in the Obamas.  And Tagg was talking to Barack – I heard later that he was apologizing for his “wanted to punch him out” remarks.

I wish Obama has brought up Freeport, IL, and Sensata after one of Romney’s tirades about not moving business to China.

I loved Rachel’s comment about Romney’s changeability afterwards:  “It’s about character – it’s a disqualification”.

Mitt Romney’s tirade about “attacking me” is not effective for anyone who has been paying attention to how many times he and his surrogates (Sununu, Trump, et al) have been attacking Obama – over his Americanism and where he was born.  I pay attention, and have blogged about them for a year.
